Volt is immediately hiring for CNC Set-up Lathe Machinist for a manufacturing company in Poway Ca.

As a CNC Set-up Lathe Machinist you will:

Set up and operate single and multiple CNC turning machines
Follow instruction and direction of department leader
Inspect own work using various inspection methods and equipment as instructed from department leaders
Read all necessary work instructions, including procedures, routers and blueprints
Keep own work area cleaned and maintained
Report to department leaders for instruction and assistance as issues arise
Stamp operations that are completed and provide accurate counts

This is a full-time opportunity

The ideal candidate will have Mandatory Skills:

10-15 years minimum CNC operator/setup experience
Ability to read necessary work materials and communicate with supervisor and co-workers
A good attitude and willing to learn
Willingness to purchase or supply own inspection and hand tools as needed
Capable of performing basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
Must be able to work as a team player and get along with fellow employees

Schedule: 1st Shift 6:30am - 6pm - May vary (8 hour minimum)

Pay Rate: $26.00 - $32.00+ per hour DOE
